Just a few hundred meters from Chia Beach and the Spanish tower overlooking it. La Gardiana is located within Veridia Resort, but you don’t have to be a guest at the resort to dine there.

From Cagliari Elmas Airport

(50 km, ~50 minutes by car)

As you leave the airport, take State Road 130 toward Cagliari, then merge onto State Road 195 Sulcitana toward Pula / Teulada. Follow the SS195 for about 40 kilometers, passing through Pula and Santa Margherita di Pula. After Forte Village, continue toward Domus de Maria. At the “Chia” sign, turn left and follow the signs for Veridia Resort.

Taxi from the airport: approximately €80–100. Private car service available upon request (we can arrange this for you at the time of booking, upon request).

From the city of Cagliari

(50 km, ~50 minutes)

Take State Road 195 (SS195 Sulcitana) southbound. The road runs along the gulf, passing through Sarroch, Pula, and Santa Margherita di Pula before reaching Chia. It’s a single, scenic, well-marked road. Tip: Leave early enough to enjoy the coast as you arrive.

From Pula

(13 km, ~15 minutes)

Take State Road 195 toward Teulada / Domus de Maria. It’s a straightforward coastal road that heads southwest the whole way. It takes exactly fifteen minutes. If you’re on vacation in Pula, you’re really just a stone’s throw away.

From Teulada

(12 km, ~15 minutes)

Take SS195 toward Cagliari/Pula. Exit at Chia and follow the signs for Veridia Resort. The stretch of road that winds through the Mediterranean scrub is one of the most beautiful along the coast.

From Forte Village and Santa Margherita di Pula

(14 km, ~18 minutes)

Take State Road 195 toward Teulada / Domus de Maria. It’s about 15 to 18 minutes. Many guests from the resorts in Santa Margherita come here for dinner—ask the front desk at your hotel to arrange a transfer.

From Carbonia / Iglesias / Sulcis

(60–70 km, ~1 hour)

Take the SP1 to Teulada, then the SS195 eastbound. It’s an hour’s drive through rolling hills and Mediterranean scrub. It’s well worth the trip.

La Gardiana is open every day for dinner only, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during the high season (June–September) and on weekends.

If you have any special requests—such as allergies, food intolerances, a plant-based diet, a special occasion, or outdoor seating—please let us know when you make your reservation: we’ll take care of everything in advance.
